Cultivate was created with the belief that every person deserves quality food. Our goal is to provide healthy and nutritious food to those who are less fortunate and, in many cases, jobs and dignity to those who are in need.
We are investing resources into developing sustainable solutions for hunger - Community Gardens and Urban Farms. These locations function as outdoor classrooms, urban sanctuaries, and community centers for the families and individuals who frequent them. Each garden or farm is created as a safe space for all who enter and a place where the community can be built.
We partner with great organizations that provide the space while we supply the tools, people, vegetables, knowhow, and more… Together, we are investing in the future of people who are in search of that little piece of hope, during this season of their lives.
Food insecurity impacts millions of people and we stand firm in our belief that gardens and farms are a way to help supplement the meals that these individuals need.
The Bridge
Our first garden will be placed at The Bridge in Dallas, TX.
We will break ground on January 21, 2019 (MLK Day). The food from the garden will benefit the clients of the shelter and their partner organization --The Stewpot.
