What is Feed The Country?
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Tango Charities will host Feed The Country; over 100 Feed The City events happening on the same day across the USA.
​
This milestone day will bring together 10,000+ volunteers to pack over 250,000 meals for kids and families in need.
​
Every September, we unite to fight hunger during Hunger Action Month. In 2026, we’re making history by inviting communities everywhere to host or join a meal-packing event in their city.

WHAT TO BRING
This is a FREE event and you are not required to bring anything besides yourself!

WHO CAN ATTEND
This is for all ages and is a family fun event.
Everyone 17 and under is welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We have had kids there as young as 3 years old participate in our events.
WHAT TO WEAR
We will have event shirts for sale for $20 each at the event.
If you have long hair please pull hair back so it doesn't hang in your face or wear a ball cap.
Wear closed-toe shoes.
Group Partners

Groups with 30 or more individual sign-ups will receive:

Where Will the Food Go?
This event is so big it will provide meals for organizations all around North Texas. Not only will these three organizations receive meals from this record attempt, but they will distribute thousands of these to other partner organizations in their community. These additional organizations include schools, churches, food pantry's, soup kitchens, and more.

Interested in helping out for this event before it happens? We have the perfect opportunity. Your business, group, religious organization, school, etc. can host a Food Drive!

Food must be dropped off during Feed The City on Saturday, September 13 at the Dallas Feed The City at Bowl & Barrel (8084 Park Ln #145, Dallas, TX 75231).

Only collect the items that are on the flyer. Download the flyer below. There is a space for you to fill in the final date you collect food.
